Back in ancient Greece, money exchangers were needed because a different currency was used for each city-state and it is said that only those with a special status were engaged in the work. In trade history, money exchange is the most fundamental act of exchanging value, and it is easy to imagine how important this occupation was. In this project, Niwa visits foreign money exchange counters around the tourist area Grand Bazaar in Istanbul and repeatedly exchanges between Turkish Lira and Euros until all of his money is gone.
