Frieze London: Booth D17

For Frieze London 2026, Edel Assanti is pleased to present a site-specific installation by Marcin Dudek, which forms a conceptual and physical framework for works by gallery artists relating to the theme of ‘home’.
Works spanning video, painting, sculpture and drawing are arranged in a specially conceived architectural environment, where thematic clusters and adjacencies explore concepts of belonging, domesticity and place. Passing through a doorway at the front of the booth, visitors enter a compressed domestic interior loosely reconstructing Dudek’s childhood home in the Kraków housing estate where the artist grew up. With its evocative spatial structures, the booth unfolds as a psychological and social terrain where artefacts, artworks and gestures gather to create an atmosphere that is both intimate and disquieting.
Coinciding with the fair, Dudek’s solo exhibition PAWILON opens at Edel Assanti’s Fitzrovia gallery from 16 October –12 December 2026.
